Day 1

ARRIVE IN THE MAJESTIC LIMA CITY (L)

Arrive to the well-known “City of the Kings”!

Today you will enjoy the city tour through the colonial and historic sectors of Lima. At lunchtime, you will get to enjoy one of the delicacies of the region a plate of ceviche accompanied by a Pisco Sour, both typical for Peru. In the night you can experience a buffet at the restaurant Songoro Cosongo.

Day 2

TRADITIONAL MARKET AND COOKING LESSON (B, L)

Prepare and savor a home-cooked meal during your stay in Lima!

In the morning you will visit a typical market in Lima where you can try the local fruits, breads and other typical products from around the coastal regions of Peru. Later in the day you will start with cooking lessons using the products you have picked up from the market.

Day 3

ARRIVE TO THE WHITE CITY OF AREQUIPA (B, L)

Arrive to the Well-known White City of Arequipa!

Today you will fly to Arequipa. There you’ll have lunch at a famous picantería – La Victoria, where you can enjoy typical dishes from the Arequipa region.

In the afternoon you will embark on the city tour.

Day 4

AREQUIPA – COLCA CANYON (B, L)

Behold the most accessible and popular segment of the Colca Canyon

Day four, you will enjoy an early morning tour through one of the deepest canyons in the world the famous Colca Canyon, finally joining an evening barbecue.

Day 5

COLCA CANYON – AREQUIPA (B)

Watch the condor’s flight and admire the world’s deepest canyons

The day begins with enjoying the spectacular view of the Cruz del Condor, down into the canyons below observing the flight of the majestic Condor, before finally returning back to Arequipa.

Day 6

AREQUIPA – CUSCO (B, D)

Arrive to the breathtaking Cusco City!

Today you fly to Cusco. In Cusco, you join the city tour of this ancient city where you get to visit the famous Cathedral of Cusco, Main Square, and the surrounding archaeological sites in the center of Cusco. You will enjoy your dinner in one of the best-known restaurants in Cusco, the “Restaurante Uchu” where there is something for everyone.

Day 7

CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS (B, L)

Ollantaytambo is a gorgeous Inca town known for its original urban planning and iconic ruins

On your drive through the Sacred Valley, you will visit the archaeological center of Pisac. You can also visit the market of Pisac where you can buy locally handcrafted items and many unique to the region souvenirs. Later, in the village of Urubamba, you will experience a Pachamanca – one of the great dishes of Peru.

Day 8

SACRED VALLEY – MACHU PICCHU – SACRED VALLEY (B, L)

Machu Picchu will take your breath away with its mysterious and historical atmosphere

Day eight begins with a train ride bringing you to Machu Picchu, the “Lost City of the Incas. On a guided tour you get to explore the great citadel, visiting many wonderous structures not to mention amazing wildlife. Lunch will be served in the hotel, Sanctuary Lodge before taking the train back in Cusco.

Day 9

SACRED VALLEY – CUSCO (B, L)

Enjoy a delicious home-made dish at Casa del Barro!

Enjoy the view of the beautiful landscapes on your journey back to Cusco. On the way, you will stop to visit the ancient salt mines of Maras. In Chinchero, you will have lunch in “Casa de Barro”.

Day 10

CUSCO (B)

Delight to prepare your own chocolate!

For those who have a sweet tooth or not, you will enjoy a trip to the ChocoMuseo in Cusco. Here you will learn how to make your own chocolate. Every step of the whole chocolate-making process will be explained in the tour of the museum and the workshop.

Day 11

CUSCO – (PUNO) (B)

Time to say goodbye!

Today you will be transferred to the airport, OR if you choose the extension into Puno, you will have an adventurous ride on a tourist bus to Puno.

Day 12

PUNO – UROS – TAQUILE (B, L)

Enjoy the floating lifestyle of the earliest inhabitants of Lake Titicaca

Today is your visit to the spectacular Lake Titicaca, where you get to visit the Islands of the Uros. Here you will learn about the traditional way of living, their culture, and how the islands were built. After a short hike on the island of Taquile, you will return to Puno.

Day 13

PUNO – LIMA (B)

Take your flight to Lima!

At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Lima.
